An Intra-Club Regatta will be held on Saturday, 20th March, commencing at 7.00am.

Races will include Open and Novice Quads,and Open Doubles. More information is available on the flyer.

The Club has recently received two new double/pairs with a grant from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. The two boats (named Two Up and Perfect Pair) were introduced to the Ross River on February 13th by Paul Hargreaves and Roy Peterson, and Christine Hargreaves and Cathy Peterson. They were pronounced as excellent boats and a great addition to our competitive fleet.

The Club is extremely grateful for the generous support of the Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund, without whose assistance the purchase of these boats (and sculling oars) would not have been possible.

Two Up is a 70kg average boat and Perfect Pair 80kg. Both boats come with both sculling and pair riggers, and are RED boats.

Club Memberships for 2010 are now due, and must be paid by 28th February, 2010.

A schedule of fees and 2010 membership form are available.

Membership forms must be posted to the Club at PO Box 3759, Hermit Park, QLD 4812, or lodged in the mailbox in the rowing shed. All membership payments must be accompanied by a completed membershipapplication form. 

The Club's Management Committee for 2010 was elected at the AGM held on 31st January, 2010.

The first Intraclub regatta for 2009 will be held on January 31.

It's not for a while but we can start thinking about crews now before everyone disappears for Christmas. There will be doubles (Men's and Ladies') and fours (Men's, Ladies' and Mixed). Rowing dates for the remainder of 2008 and for 2009 have now been finalised and are available for download.

Additional club functions will be added and advised separately.

On Saturday 25th October the Club will be hosting an Intra-Club Mini Regatta, commencing at 4.00pm.

There will be two classes of boats, Singles and Quads, so that's 5 events: Men's and Women's Quads and Singles, and Mixed Quads. An entrance fee of $5 per rower for the regatta will include a sausage sizzle afterwards.

It is now only two weeks before we begin this year's "Challenge", and as in previous years we require a raft of volunteers for this major fundraising event to be as successful as in the past.
