The inaugural Nth QLD Indoor Rowing Championships have arrived for 2008!

Saturday 5th July will see for the first time in Nth QLD, indoor rowing: this event will showcase the fitness and skills of both rowers and gym-junkies on the 'ergo'!

With a wide range of age and skill categories over a choice of three different distances, this event will have something for any fitness fanatic - rowers and no-rower alike.

****  NEW  !!  Indoor rowing (ergos) is a relatively new 'sport' in its own right.  Ergos, once the domain of the rowing club gym and coaches the world over, have now become an important piece of gym equipment alongside the treadmill in commercial gyms the world over.  Check out the home page of the CRASH-B site (the home of the 'sport' of indoor rowing) and the Indoor Rowing page on the FISA (World Rowing site)  ****
